Popular Taiwanese group S.H.E came to HK to promote for 3 days. Yesterday they held a signing event for their new CD so fans could have close interactions with them. There were over a thousand fans who attended the event and some fans who saw their idol’s elegant demanour started crying with excitement. Another fan came up with an idea of giving brocolli as a present.
In the past year, S.H.E came to Hong Kong individually to promote but for the past 3 days the three girls came as a team. Fans who have been in pain from not seeing their idols for an extremely long time have been by their side throughout their stay in Hong Kong. Yesterday S.H.E appeared for their signing event along with a thousand fans who were there to support them. To gain their idol’s attention some fans used their creativity and wrapped up a bit of brocolli to make it look like a bunch of fresh flowers which was then personally handed to their idol. There were also fans who started to cry with excitement before the event.
S.H.E stated that they often received handmade gifts from fans during functions. Ella said that they do not encourage fans to give them presents. They would rather them use that money to do something more meaningful so they feel really happy when they receive donation receipts. Ella states [We once received an expensive watch each but supporting us by purchasing our CD is enough]
Accused of criticizing Jerry Yan
The 3 admitted that they haven’t been keeping an eye out on news regarding the “Golden Horse Awards” so they don’t know about the film nominations but Ella has been paying a lot of attention on Bridgette Lin who will be presenting an award on the night. She says [She (Bridgette) really is extremely beautiful. There's a photo studio near my home and one of Bridgette's younger salon photo is hanging there. Everytime I past that shop I'll look at the photo a few times. ] Ella expressed that she wants to be as pretty as Bridgette when she gets old which made Selina laugh at her and tell her that she’s not as pretty as Bridgette now so how is she supposed to be as pretty as her when she gets old.
When they were interviewed by the TV station, a reporter raised the topic of S.H.E commenting on Jerry Yan using his fanmeeting to make money as “Not supposed to”. Ella replied anxiously that they never said that and explained that different people have different ways of doing things and even asked which reporter wrote that making every effort to find the “assassin”. Ella’s reaction gave everyone who was present a scare which was seen by Hebe and Selina so they both told her not to be angry which made Ella calm down.
