Recently there was a rumour regarding EEG trying to minimise costs. They were planning to stop allowing second line singers to release albums. These singers include Mandy Chiang, Don Li and Cheung Ji (Don’t know him). Mandy has already revealed this news in her blog; she stated that “After discussing for a period of time, we have come up with a suitable decision, thank you everyone for understanding, I will be responsible for this, whether its 6 months or 3 months, pity it”
She also said “This kind of complicated game is not suitable for me, they can do whatever they want” and “Don’t need to stick with original plans anymore, I’ll stick with the path that suits me most, I’ve already departed” When EEG’s Mani Fok was asked about this she denied that their contract was going to be terminated but admitted that all future plans to release CD’s have been cancelled.

Fee: I was so shocked when I first read this. I’m not happy. Mandy is one of the bestest female singers in EEG and they’re doing this to her. Man Yumiko should stop as well then, she’s nothing compared with Mandy when it comes to singing! Mandy is so pretty! I hope she stays in the entertainment industry and does something about this. This is not fair for her. EEG are so mean!
